Committee on Framing Standards

The AISI Committee on Framing Standards is a consensus group which maintains and updates the suite of cold-formed steel framing standards. These standards are referenced in AISI S100, which is the foundation for cold-formed steel design.

The mission of the Committee on Framing Standards is:

The Committee on Framing Standards consists of four subcommittees. These subcommittees fulfill the mission established by the Committee on Framing Standards by monitoring research works related to cold-formed steel framing design, and providing recommendations for developing and improving design provisions in the cold-formed steel framing standards.
